On February 1, a group of 30 Jawana participants from Jawana program visited the Nangarhar Provincial Counsel for the first time.

The objective of this visit was to learn about the Provincial Counsel, different leadership styles, and the vision and mission of the Council.  A female Member of Nangarhar Provincial Counsel gave a presentation about the different activities the Counsel is involved in.  She also gave participants the opportunity to ask questions about the Council and talked about her personal journal working for the council, including the obstacles she has faced as a woman.
